The Sunshine City.
Perched on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River, Saskatoon is home to a multitude of cultures, a vibrant food scene, one of Canada’s largest contemporary art museums (the Remai Modern), more than 200 parks and roughly 320 days of sunshine a year. The down-to- earth people love this place for its affordability, the gorgeous Meewasin Valley Trail, and the hometown vibe, where everyone is there to help their neighbour.
Thinking small at a big scale.
At Brighton, green space and water views are part of everyday life. Pathways connect you to parks of all sizes right from your front door, and beautiful boardwalks weave through the wetlands, where birds, frogs, and other aquatic animals make their home. And whether your kids love sports, the playground or rocking an agility course, inspired opportunities for play abound.
Be close to what matters most.
Marketside
Living in the Marketside neighbourhood is ideal for residents who want to have all of life’s amenities nearby. Walk to dinner, catch a movie or roll out of bed in the morning and be able to grab a coffee after a quick walk to your neighbourhood coffee shop. Woodland Park is where you can wind down with the kids and explore the parks. There is a mix of housing, including Townhomes and single family homes.
Parkside
The Parkside neighbourhood is ideal for those who want to spend most days in the park. Parkside has huge fields ready for practice or games if you live and breath soccer or baseball. From your backyard, views of the parks are the ultimate advantage to see if friends and neighbours are already playing and the connected paths make getting there very safe. Parkside is the future site of the high school, and there is a proposed elementary school. The Amphitheatre in Core Park will be the backdrop for live music and local theatre. There is a mix of housing, including single family, town, semi and villas.
Water's Edge
Calling all bird lovers and nature watchers! The neighbourhood called Waters’ Edge houses the wetlands. Large homes back onto the pond with beautiful views of the wetlands and easy access to all the walking trails and parks. Nature will be a big part of your day, watching the sunrise or sun set over the pond.
Village West
Live. Work. Play. Village West has it all. At the heart of the neighbourhood is the Village Center. You’ll be able to work in one of the office buildings or boutique retail and live a few blocks away. Village West has predominantly mixed use retail and residential, with townhomes and apartment buildings available for rent or to buy.
Village East, 2025+
Coming soon. This will be the future Holmwood Business Park and the suburban centre will also be home to the high school. Village East will have a higher density of residential properties but still have easy access to Village West and Marketside – for all of life’s daily essentials.
